Self-custody rules: what stays on the device, what support cannot do, and what you must never send.
GreyWallet is self-custody. The recovery phrase and private keys live on your phone. Grey Holdings does not have a copy. Screen lock protects the session on the device. Private Vaults isolate a second space behind a pattern. None of these is a cloud backup.
Never send
- Recovery phrase — not to support@greywallet.app, not to a lookalike site, not as a screenshot.
- Private keys.
- Private Vaults pattern. Support cannot rebuild it. A message that asks for it is not GreyWallet.
What support can and cannot do
- Can: product questions about GreyWallet.
- Cannot: recover a wallet, reverse an on-chain transaction, reconstruct a pattern, or see your RPC configuration.
GreyWallet is a product of Grey Holdings (grey.holdings).
