Address book

Stored destinations for faster sends. A label is not a guarantee that the address is correct.

The address book stores frequently used addresses so you can send without pasting every time. It does not make a transaction safe. It does not verify that the counterparty still controls that address. It does not check that the address is valid on the network you selected.

  • Confirm network and address still match what the recipient gave you.
  • A book entry for an EVM address is not a Bitcoin address.
  • Updating a label does not change the bytes you will send to.
