Getting started

Install GreyWallet from the official App Store or Google Play listing. Open only that listing. After install you either create a new HD wallet or import one you already hold. Both flows set phrase, family, path, and index on the device.

First session

   Install

   Download GreyWallet for iOS or Android. Confirm the publisher before you install.

2. 02

   Choose create or import

   Create generates a new phrase on the device. Import restores a phrase you already have. Import must match the original family, derivation path, and account index or you will derive a different account.

3. 03

   Record secrets offline

   Write the recovery phrase on paper or another offline method. If you changed the path or index, record those next to the phrase. GreyWallet cannot reconstruct any of them.

4. 04

   Confirm receive before you send value in

   Open receive on the network you intend to use. Verify the address and the network with a small test amount if you are moving size.

After setup

Home, Assets, and Activity are the everyday surface. Send and receive always require a selected network. Private Vaults are a separate space behind a pattern — they do not appear in everyday views until that pattern is entered.

If balances look empty after import, the network list is usually not the problem. Check family, derivation path, and account index first. Wrong path looks like an empty wallet.
