Start
Getting started
Install GreyWallet, then create a wallet or import one you already hold. Record the phrase offline before you fund the account.
Platforms
GreyWallet ships on iOS and Android. Desktop and hardware wallets are not in this release.

Create a wallet
Generate an HD wallet on the device. Phrase length, chain family, derivation path, and account index are set in one flow.
Import a wallet
Restore an existing HD wallet. The phrase is necessary and not always sufficient — family, path, and index must match the original.
HD wallets
Hierarchical deterministic structure: app, HD wallet, account, address. Create many wallets. Hold many accounts in each.
Recovery phrase
The phrase is the root of the HD wallet. GreyWallet cannot reconstruct it. Support will never ask for it.

Account index
The account' level of the derivation path. Not a nickname. Not limited to 0, 1, and 2. Wrong index is a different account.

Custom RPC
Each network reads and broadcasts through an RPC endpoint. You can set that URL. This site does not publish a vendor catalog.
dApps and machines
Execution environments per family, and DeFi / NFT surfaces in the app — without invented protocol or WalletConnect claims.
Use
Send
One network per transaction. Verify asset, amount, address, and fee. On-chain sends cannot be reversed.
Receive
Share the address for the selected network and account. A deposit on the wrong chain cannot be redirected.
Assets
Balances by network. Tickers are not unique across chains. Always match asset and network.
Activity
Transaction history and notifications for the wallets in view. Private Vaults activity stays in that space until it is unlocked.
Address book
Stored destinations for faster sends. A label is not a guarantee that the address is correct.
Fees
Network fees are paid on-chain in that network’s fee asset. GreyWallet does not set protocol fees.
Privacy
Private Vaults
Isolated wallets behind a pattern. Device-level privacy — not undetectability. Not recoverable by support.
Screen lock
App lock on the device. It is not a backup of the recovery phrase and not a second set of keys.
